·        Orientation: book format

·        Pages must not be numbered;

·        Page margins (top, bottom, left, right): 2 cm;

·        Font: Times New Roman 11 pt (abstract), 11 pt (main body)

·        First-line indent: 1 cm;

·        Line spacing: single;

·        Manuscript length: from 10 pages;

·        Originality of the text: not less than 70%.

 Requirements for figures, tables:

 ·        Figures / tables should be embedded in the text of the article, without wrapping.

·        Tables and figures must be referenced in the text (Fig. 1, Table 1) 

·        All figures be submitted in JPG format; text size must be no less than 11 pt.

 Information about authors: shall be provided in Ukrainian and English at the end of the article. For the English version, the spelling of the First Name and Surname must correspond exactly to the spelling of the surname and first name in the ORCID. If there is no ORCID number, it should be obtained by registering via the link https://orcid.org/register

 Review article: should summarize new directions and trends in scientific research that have emerged over the past 10 to 30 years. Generalizations should be presented in the form of diagrams and tables and, where possible, with the use of mathematical processing of the results of an analytical review of literature sources. The number of references should include no fewer than 100 items, of which more than 90 % should be foreign publications, and references to internet resources should not exceed 5 %.

 Submission procedure

Original scientific articles that correspond to the journal’s scope and have not been previously published or submitted simultaneously to other scientific journals are considered.

The author shall submit the article to the editorial office in electronic form, prepared in accordance with the journal’s established requirements regarding structure, content, and technical formatting.

Submission of an article to the editorial office means that the author:

– confirms the originality of the submitted material;

– guarantees the absence of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and other violations of academic integrity;

– agrees with the journal’s editorial policy;

– gives consent to undergo the peer-review and editorial processing procedure;

– confirms the accuracy of the information provided about the author and the research results;

– gives consent to the processing of his/her personal data.

After the manuscript is received by the editorial office, the article undergoes an initial editorial review, during which its compliance with the journal’s profile, technical requirements, the presence of all necessary structural elements, and adherence to the principles of academic integrity are checked.

If the manuscript meets the established requirements, it is submitted for peer review.

If the article requires technical or substantive revision before the start of peer review, the editorial office informs the author accordingly.

All editorial notifications, reviewers’ comments, and decisions regarding the submitted manuscript are sent to the author by electronic means.

The editorial office reserves the right to reject a manuscript without sending it for peer review if it does not correspond to the journal’s scope, does not comply with formatting requirements, contains signs of academic misconduct, or does not meet the required scientific level.

 

Publication Fee:

No fees are charged for submission, review, peer review, editorial processing, preparation of materials, or publication.

Collection of Scientific Papers “Problems of Emergency Situations” operates as a non-profit publication and follows the diamond open access model, which ensures free and unrestricted dissemination of scientific results.

Publication of scientific articles in the journal is free of charge for all authors without exception.

This rule also fully applies to third-level (educational and scientific) higher education students.

In particular, for such students studying under state-funded education and preparing a scientific article individually, publication is also free of charge.
